I’ve tried everything I can to stave off being cut on to no avail. I’ll find out for sure Friday, but I’m already about 85-90% certain he’s going to want to go ahead and cut on me. If so, I hope he can get it done before mid March or it may just have to wait until after Key West, and I don’t want to go that long.

My date Friday with Jack went off rather well all in all. He is an incredibly intelligent man, but obviously has some deep-seeded anger issues that he couldn’t or wouldn’t hide. Last Night
So before I went on the drink date, I went to one of the nicer restaurants I’ve been frequenting for dinner. How bad is it that I’m now on first name basis with the bartender at said restaurant? It’s the same one that gave me the free glass of scotch….
The Drink Date was a success.
We had a lot of fun talking. He’s an extremely smart and funny guy, but not the kind of guy I could get in a relationship with…. which makes him PERFECT for this time in my life. We’ll probably meet up at least once more…. depends on how well he behaves.

I got in the refrigerator to get my lunch out and there’s a bottle of powerade sitting on a napkin with a note written on it from my son to my daughter. Apparently he bought her a powerade for no particular reason.
